This policy explains how pickup and delivery work when you purchase livestock or feed from
Rays Livestock Auction, based at 13610 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77047.

1. Local Pickup

Local pickup is available at our Houston, TX location by appointment. Once your order is
confirmed, we will coordinate a pickup date and time. Buyers are responsible for bringing
appropriate transport (trailer, livestock crates, secure vehicle, etc.) suited to the animal(s)
or feed quantity being picked up.

2. Delivery

We offer delivery and transport arrangements for customers outside the Houston area,
including nationwide shipping for livestock where feasible. Delivery details, including cost
and estimated timeframe, are quoted individually based on:

• Distance from our Houston location
• Type and number of animals or feed quantity
• Transport method required (trailer, livestock carrier, etc.)
• Seasonal weather and road conditions

3. Delivery Timeframes

*Timeframes are estimates and may vary based on animal welfare needs, weather, and transport availability. We will confirm an exact date with you directly.

4. Animal Welfare in Transit

The health and welfare of livestock during transport is a priority. We take reasonable
precautions to ensure animals are transported safely, including appropriate loading practices
and travel timing. Extreme weather conditions may result in a delayed delivery date to protect
the animal’s wellbeing.

5. Delivery Address & Access

Buyers must ensure the delivery location is accessible to the transport vehicle and that
appropriate facilities (pens, fencing, feed/water) are ready to receive the animal(s) upon
arrival. Delays caused by inaccessible or unprepared delivery sites may result in additional
fees.

6. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are quoted on a per-order basis and communicated before your order is
finalized. Local pickup at our Houston location has no delivery fee.

7. Documentation

Depending on the animal type and destination, interstate transport may require a health
certificate or other documentation. We will let you know what is required for your specific
order and location.

8. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If a scheduled delivery cannot be completed due to buyer unavailability or an unprepared
delivery site, additional transport fees may apply for rescheduling.
